POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Enrollment Manager, you are the face of this special school.   We are blessed to have a beautiful 11-acre campus, a bountiful garden, a Eurythmy program, a dedicated faculty, and, most importantly, we have a community that truly cares about one another and our school.  In this role, you are working in collaboration with faculty and staff to attract students and families who will be a positive addition to this tight-knit community.  You help make sure that those who are accepted are able to transition smoothly and feel like they belong.  Your skill helps this school thrive in a way that is a result of all that you offer in your new role.

General Duties

Manage an admissions process that fully aligns with the needs of the school and the families it serves so that we continue to have a school with thriving students. Work in collaboration with faculty and staff, and with community to support, to assist in reaching new families to join us.

You are the first person prospective families meet and you get the privilege of building a relationship with them, helping them to integrate into the school.  You understand the perspective of contemporary parents who are looking for a school for their children.  You understand Waldorf education well so that you can ensure prospective families are making a conscious choice to choose our Waldorf school.

Admissions events

By doing outreach and helping people learn about what we have to offer, you provide prospective families the opportunity to apply for admission.   You work closely with the Early Childhood Center faculty to help make it an automatic and smooth transition from the ECC to first grade and beyond.  You work closely with the High School Faculty to help make a smooth transition from Grade 8 to the High School.

Admissions Process

You understand the financial realities of the school so you can support student enrollment as it relates to tuition adjustment and scholarship opportunities.  You coordinate with the Marketing Manager to create appealing visits for parents and students that are warm and show them all Highland Hall has to offer.   You are available to provide one on one tours for families throughout the calendar year.

You work in tandem with the Admissions Committee to ensure admission decisions are clear and well-communicated in order to create a smooth and secure process for applicants.

You follow up with families throughout the entire admission process so they feel cared about and welcome and as if they already belong.
