MS/HS Physical Education Teacher- Part Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a part time passionate energetic but compassionate Physical Education Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching physical education classes in 7th, 8th, and high school. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical education, a commitment to mentoring and guiding students, and the ability to develop engaging lesson plans.

Duties:

– Create lesson plans that are innovative, challenging, and tailored to the needs of students with varying abilities.
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback that promotes growth and improvement.
– Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide physical education events and activities.
– Utilize Waldorf methods to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
– Develop and maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that encourages physical activity and social interaction.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Education, or a related field (or near completion) - Teaching experience in a physical education setting, preferably in a higher education environment - Experience with classroom management and discipline techniques.
